George is very pleased to present - Subway Spectator - a set of four small paintings showing a single subway scene from four different views.  These luminous paintings explore moments of solitude, contemplation and individual identity within a tightly populated setting.


Scott Grodesky was born in 1968 in Warren, Ohio. He moved to NYC in 1989 and now lives and works in Ridgewood Queens, NY. His most known works are Reverse perspective paintings. A space where objects are larger the further they are from you. These paintings are usually of intimate family or personal experiences rendered in translucent colors with color pencil lines. More recently the work is about subway scenes in NYC. 


Grodesky has shown in the Venice Aprto-93’ and has exhibited at Zach Feuer Gallery, Daniel Weinberg Gallery and Sunday LES Gallery. Collections include - Le Consortium, Dijon France and Maramotti foundation, Italy.
